Q: Can I use more than one Indirect Access Provider with Euphony? A: No. Only one Indirect Access provider can be used per single BT Telephone Number, In most cases subscribing to another Indirect Operator will cancel any existing agreement with the previous LCR supplier Q: How can I tell of I can receive the Euphony Service? A: Prospective Customers can call the Validation line on 0541 541 351, Please follow the voice prompts Q: Can I use the Free Call offer in conjunction with an Internet Service Provider ? i.e Internet Access Please note that this answer has been updated following a recent update from Euphony Communications Ltd A: The Euphony Service applies to 01 prefixed numbers in the callers local area as defined by BT.
Q:What is the minimum setup charge for a call using the Euphony Service? Q: I use the Euphony 132 service to reduce my phone bill, Can I also reduce my BT line rental now that I use another carrier for my phone calls? i.e BT`s light user scheme A: No. BT`s Light User Scheme is only for those who have a low call rate or spend. BT strictly prohibit the use of Least Cost Routing Services for customers who opt for the Light User Scheme. Users who opt to use the Euphony Service then ask BT to change to a Light User Scheme in order to reduce their line rental, will be in breach of their contract with BT. Q: I Currently use C&W 132 service for making cheaper calls, Can I use the Euphony Service as well ? A: No. You can only use one of the services, either Euphony`s 132 service or C&W 132 service. Q: The Free Local Call offer does not apply to 0345, 0645 or 0845 numbers, What do Euphony charge for these calls ? A:These calls will be charged at a similar rate to BT ie. 5p & 2p. Please remember that you can still use BT`s discount schemes to get lower rates on these numbers Q: What are regional, national and International Calls? A : All calls that are not to a number in your own local STD area or in an adjoining areas. Information in your BT Directory will show you which areas they are. Q: Do I need to dial the STD Code if I am making a local call? A: Yes. The euphony service can only be accessed by dialing 132 or by pressing the blue button on the euphony telephone, regardless of the call (local, regional, national, international) Q: Will I still pay BT? A: Yes, you will still receive regular bills from BT for line rental and / or other services along with any calls you make over the BT network Q: Can I still use services like Directory Enquirys, Ring Back, 141, 1471 , 3 way calling etc.? A: Yes, All existing BT services will still be available, and charged by BT to you on per use basis. Please note that 3 way calling and Ring Back are services provided by BT at the exchange and will be charged by BT to you. This services are not discounted by euphony. Q: Will Euphony be supplying a smart box (or auto dialler)? A: There are currently no plans to provide a smart box. Euphony can supply a Euphony phone @£23.50 incl. Vat for customers upon request. Some phones have a facility to pre program a favorite button, these phones could be pre programmed with the 132 sequence. Due to the large number of phones on the market, neither Euphony nor their Distributors can offer individual advice on programming these phones Q: How do I know that I have spent £5.00 or more on calls to qualify for the free local calls offer ? A: There is currently no way to find out in real time as to what the customer call spend is until the end of the billing month. Customers on average do spend around £25.00 per month on phone calls, so the majority of customers will automatically qualify for free local calls.Euphony are currently working on a system that will allow customers to find out in real time if they have spent enough for the free local call offer.When this service becomes available, customers will be informed. Q: What happens if I receive a bill from euphony close to the end of the month? (free local call offer) A: Euphony are aware that on rare occasions, that bills are sometimes sent out late. Should this happen euphony will allow customers sufficient time to pay their bill whilst still allowing free call allowance.
A: Euphony aim to connect all correctly completed customer applications within 21 days of receipt, on rare occasions this may increase to 35 days. Once a customer has been successfully activated, euphony will send a welcome letter to the customer. Q: Can I use the service on a BT IDSN line or Home Highway Line ? A: Yes Q: I am a cable customer, Can I use the Euphony service ? A: No. The Euphony service is only available to BT Customers. Cable Customers wishing to take advantage of the euphony service will need to have a BT line installed or re-connected Q: I have a ISDN or HH Line, One line already uses a LCR operator, Can I use euphony for the other line? A: Yes Q . I have Caller ID disabled on my phone line, will the euphony service reveal my phone number to the called party ? A: No. Q . Can I use the euphony service on group of numbers for business use ? ie. for a local taxi company A: Yes, You will have to contact a distributor who will take details of your requirements and pass this to euphony. Euphony will allow up to 4 separate numbers per application. Each case is unique and your distributor can provide you with more detail upon request. |
